Hi guys and welcome to my site. My name is Demetra and I have a curious idea. I would love for you to get to know me and I you. I find we are so used to using social media to portray ourselves in the nicest light, to put on a show for others to see. From Photoshop, to the amazing places we travel to, to how much we spend on a customized leather wallet. We are so hung up on looking our best and trying to impress all the wrong people in an effort to feel relevant, and comfortable in our own skin.
It is my intention to reveal myself and all my thoughts and feelings here and create a safe space for anyone to do the same. And to celebrate all our insecurities, flaws, and achievements and of course to chronicle my journey in as an actress. I intend to be honest and real and hopefully inspire everyone to do the same. Thanks for being part of my story.

Not the best audio quality, the mic didn’t pick up the full sound, BUT the acting isn’t half bad :)
Can’t remember which show this scene was from. Also you’ll hear my teacher giving me direction in the middle of the scene. It’s important you continue on focusing on your partner and the scene when direction is given. You just take the adjustment and continue on.
Our take on The Family of Mann written by Theresa Rebeck, taped via Zoom.
It's always a great idea to do an improv of the moment before (make it up if you have to) in order to get into the life of your character. It's a great way to play and explore your character and their relationship with the other person.
Don’t do what I did at the end :) Don’t let them think you messed up, you didn’t! If you were present in the moment, but it’s different from how you had intended, it’s not wrong, no one knows except you! As long as you we truthful, whatever happens happens, let it be.
Don’t be afraid to take direction, even if it’s in the middle of your scene. Stay in it, and roll with it :)
